salon and store policies

At the Tina Pearson Salon, our goal is to insure your experience exceeds your expectations. Below are our policies that will help our team to provide all of our guests with the best experience possible.

upon arrival

Please do not bring children or guests to your appointment unless they are being serviced also. Unscheduled guests can cause an unnecessary overflow to our waiting and styling area, which does not align with the environment we work hard at creating for our guests being serviced. We cannot have children playing in the salon where we use hot tools and hair coloring in particular. We want our guests to feel safe, pampered, relaxed and free to have a great time in our cozy environment.

We ask that you arrive at minimum, 10 minutes prior to your appointment. This will allow our concierge to get you checked in and allow you to relax and enjoy a complimentary beverage before we get started. If you are running behind schedule, we understand, it happens; but we ask that you please CONTACT US as soon as you are aware that you will be late. This will allow your stylist to evaluate your reservation and plan accordingly. If you arrive 15 minutes or later for your appointment, you may be asked to reschedule or modify said appointment. Please note, that if you are late and are still being serviced there may be a wait, as we continue to stay on schedule as other guests arrive.


We know you would never want to, but life happens... If you need to cancel we ask that you do so 24 - 48 hours in advance. If it is less than 24 hours, you will be subject to a $25.00 cancellation fee. All "no shows" will be charged 50% of the scheduled services total. This charge will be applied to the credit card used at the time of booking your appointment.


At the Tina Pearson Salon as an American Express customer favorite and preferred customer we proudly accept American Express, along with Visa, MasterCard and cash.
Gratuities are not included in the cost of your services and can be paid in cash only; we thank you in advance.

extension services

We do require a 25% deposit for all weave services. This deposit does no include any hair purchases. We ask that in the event that you do need to cancel your appointment you give us a 72 hour notice or you will be subject to forfeit your deposit. All hair purchases for our weave services must be paid in full at the time the order and appointment is placed.


We happily accept young clients; we ask that an adult accompany the child during their appointment.

cell phones and other devices

We offer free Wi-Fi to all our clients. We ask that you silence your cellphones while receiving services in the salon to respect the experience of the guests around you. Should you need to take an important phone call we ask that you be mindful of others and your surroundings.

color formulas

Each stylist here at the Tina Pearson Salon will determine your color formulation based on the current condition of your hair, your end goal and our professional expertise. As such, our customers color formulas are property of the Tina Pearson Salon and can be made available for purchase for $50.00.

returns and exchanges

Here at the Tina Pearson Salon we guarantee both our products and our services. If you are unhappy with your online hair product or hair tool purchase, you have 14 days from the date of delivery to return your order. To start a return, please use the form on our VISIT page and we will follow up with complete return instructions. For salon services, if we have not met your expectations we would like to invite you back within 5 days of your service for a complimentary adjustment. For all in-store hair product, hair tool and garment purchases, you have 10 days from the in-store purchase date to return and/or exchange an item/s. No return or exchanges will be accepted beyond that time.

gift cards

Tina Pearson Salon offers gift cards for purchase whether given as a gift or used as a "TPS debit" card. You can add any monetary amount to your card and it can be applied to both salon services and retail purchases. If you lose your card, we can replace it for you at your next reservation where we can look the card up in our system under your personal account. You can apply that credit to your purchase whether you have gift card or not.
Purchasing gift cards are also a great way to "refer a friend" especially since we offer you 10% off for each referral.
